Getting Started
From zero to chatting with AI in under a minute.
1. Download
Grab the latest release for your platform from the download page. EasyClaw supports macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel) and Linux (AppImage).
macOS — Open the .dmg, drag EasyClaw to Applications
Linux — Make the .AppImage executable and run it
2. Launch & Install
On first launch, EasyClaw runs a guided installer. It automatically sets up:
- Node.js (if not already installed)
- Homebrew (macOS) or system packages (Linux)
- OpenClaw gateway
- ClawdBot and MoltBot
3. Setup Wizard
The wizard walks you through three choices:
AI Provider
Pick your model — Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT-4.1), Google (Gemini), or OpenRouter. Paste your API key.
Skills
Enable integrations — Apple Notes, Reminders, Google Workspace, email (Himalaya). Each one adds capabilities to your AI.
Channels
Connect messaging platforms — WhatsApp, Signal, iMessage. This is how you talk to your AI.
4. Chat
Once setup completes, the EasyClaw dashboard shows your running services. Open WhatsApp (or your chosen channel) and send a message — your AI responds.
