Messaging

Connect your favorite messaging apps to chat with your AI assistant.

Chat where you're comfortable

EasyClaw brings AI to the apps you already use every day. No need to learn a new interface or switch between apps — just message your assistant like you'd text a friend.

You can connect multiple apps at once. Your AI remembers the context from all your conversations, so you get consistent help no matter which app you're using.

WhatsApp

The world's most popular messaging app

Connect WhatsApp by scanning a QR code — the same way you'd link WhatsApp Web. Once connected, you can message your AI from your phone or any WhatsApp-connected device.

How to connect

  1. 1Open EasyClaw and go to the messaging settings
  2. 2Click "Connect WhatsApp" and a QR code will appear
  3. 3On your phone: WhatsApp → Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device
  4. 4Scan the QR code — you're connected!

Good to know: WhatsApp lets you choose which contacts can reach your AI. You can allow everyone, or only specific phone numbers.

Signal

Private messaging for the privacy-conscious

Signal is known for its end-to-end encryption and privacy-first approach. Connecting Signal requires verifying your phone number through a simple SMS code.

How to connect

  1. 1Open EasyClaw and go to the messaging settings
  2. 2Click "Connect Signal" and enter your phone number
  3. 3You'll receive a verification code via SMS — enter it in EasyClaw
  4. 4That's it — Signal is now connected

Note: You'll need a phone number that's registered with Signal. This can be the same number you use for your personal Signal, or a separate number.

iMessage

Mac only

If you're on a Mac and use iMessage, EasyClaw can connect directly to the Messages app. This is perfect for anyone deep in the Apple ecosystem.

How to connect

  1. 1Make sure you're signed into iMessage on your Mac
  2. 2Open EasyClaw and click "Connect iMessage"
  3. 3Grant permission when your Mac asks (this lets EasyClaw read your messages)
  4. 4Your iMessage conversations are now AI-enabled

Why Mac only? iMessage is tightly integrated with macOS. There's no official way to access it on other platforms, so this feature is only available on Mac.

Tips for the best experience

1

Start with one app

Get comfortable with one messaging app before adding others. You can always add more later.

2

Control who can message your AI

You can limit which contacts have access to your AI assistant. This is great if you share your number with many people.

3

Your AI remembers context across apps

If you ask something on WhatsApp and follow up on Signal, your AI will remember the conversation.
